Hello again one and all,
Oddly for a midweek day, 7 meetings taking place around the UK and Ireland, featuring 50 races to try and find a winner. We did that yesterday with one of our three choices, but still ended up 5p down on the day with the other two losing. We did, however, do better than the tipster who we followed, as all their profits are calculated using the horses Starting Price (SP). We got on our sole winner at odds of 6-4, whilst the SP was 8-11, considerably lower than we achieved.
Recap - Monday 15th May, 2023
Majestic Beauty proved up to her name as she cruised to the line for victory. Settled into stride early, and tracked the leaders on the rail, switched wider with around 3f to go coming off the bend for home. Moved up and challenged the leading pair 2f from the line, and took the lead 1f out moving clear fairly easily, as the second was eased down slighty as the line beckoned with the race settled, winning by 2.5 lengths. Our other two choices for the day Haveagomecca and Hopeforthebest finished 4th and 6th in their respective outings.
Tipsters Standings
Newmarket, another new name on the tipsters roster, takes over the top spot following back to back wins, and with Tipman Tips well and truly breaking his cycle of wins every other day, having had 3 losers in a row.
Today's Bet
This 4yo Bay Gelding was a winner at the first time of asking on his debut in December 2021, over 1M. The next 6 across the line that day all went on to win their next races. Slightly up in trip this time around to 1M 1F. First outing since a wind operation. Last years Flat Champion Jockey, and current leader, William Buick, is in the saddle as an added bonus.
