Thanks to a previous person's post (kixboss) about Splinterlands, I found out that you can buy a potion to up your daily request reward from 1 chest, if you're in a low-level league, to 5 chests. I was ecstatic to find this out. The cost for this potion is 750 DEC or $5.50ish USD or you can buy credits and only spend 75 cents from Paypal. I'm sure everyone is aware of this.

I wanted to see if it was worth the price of admission. So I bought what felt like a scratch off ticket. The first one was 9 DEC, the first one, it's fine.

I open the second chest and the same thing, except even less DEC, starting to get nervous.

Hello, what's this. This one is new in my book and it says Epic at the bottom, which I can't remember exactly where that falls, but it's not the lowest rarity. It looks like my gamble might have been worth it and I have 3 more chests to open. I could get lucky and maybe get another card. Who knows?

Darn. Another small crystal amount that I can win in like 10 minutes.

More DEC..............but more than the last 3 DEC chests combined.

A legendary potion! Something I can't use without buying aftermarket card decks, so I'm disappointed and they only cost 4 cents, so basically the lowest prize out of the bunch.

I'm still optimistic that the quest potion was worth it, so I go over to the card sale page.

It's worth about $4.28! So I made 570% of my 75 cent investment. There are 18,000 of these cards in circulation though, so not in the least bit rare.

Thanks for reading my first-timer experience. I'm sure it brought some nostalgia back to the seasoned players that can remember the first time they used the potion.

Thanks for reading.
