One Monster Standing Between Victory and Defeat — This Strategy Made the Enemy Completely Helpless

Todays Low Mana battle was very interesting and we got to see only one Rule Set which was called "Now You See Me" and it made the battle very interesting.

In Low Mana battles confusion already increases because you have a low Mana Capacity and there are more Monster Cards and cards in your deck so selection becomes difficult for you. And if more Rule Sets appear they create even more confusion because according to these Rule Sets you have to select your Monsters and plan your strategy accordingly.

But when there is only one Rule Set in a Low Mana battle it reduces the confusion quite a lot because the focus remains on only one Rule Set and according to that you make your strategy and plan.

Normally my Win Rate is higher in High Mana battles as compared to Low Mana battles because in High Mana battles I have more Monster selections and it remains easier to make a good and strong team combination.

Whereas in Low Mana battles because the Mana Capacity is low making a good team combination is not an easy task. Instead you have to properly think and plan your strategy.

Today's 18 Mana battle was extremely good and interesting and we got to see one Rule Set whose name was Now You See Me.

Before we move toward the battle and define my strategy it is important to understand which Rule Set appeared and what strategy I adopted according to it. Because I believe that 50% of the secret to winning any battle is correctly understanding the Rule Set and the other 50% is selecting the Monsters according to that Rule Set and planning your strategy.

So let's understand the Rule Set.

Rule Set 1: NOW YOU SEE ME

According to this Rule Set all units whether they belong to allied or enemy units get the Camouflage Ability.

And what does Camouflage do? It means the unit cannot be directly targeted unless it is in the first position.

This means that according to this Rule Set except for the first position unit all other units are safe and protected and they will not be hit directly.

This means that only the first Monster will continuously receive attacks while the other Monsters in the back positions will take full advantage of this and continue targeting the first unit.

MY STRATEGY AND MONSTERS SELECTION

So according to this Rule Set it is necessary to adopt a strategy where you select a very strong Tank Monster for your frontline so that it can continue absorbing all the damage from the enemy's attackers.

In this way your next plan should be to also have a secondary Tank in the second position. Because in case the first Tank Monster gets eliminated the second Monster should again have strong Armor and Health so that it can continue fighting.

The point is that in this Low Mana battle having more Monsters with high Health and high Armor will be beneficial. At the same time having heavy attackers is also necessary because you need to eliminate the enemy's frontline Monsters quickly so that their lineup becomes weak.

MY STRATEGY AND MONSTERS SELECTION

My strategy was something like this. I selected my Archon with the +1 Speed Ability.

What benefit would this give me? My Monsters' attacks would be faster meaning they would attack quickly and continuously destroy the enemy's frontline.

In an 18 Mana battle like this the expectation is also that you will not have a selection of more than one or two Monsters because you have low Mana Capacity. So if you select an Archon with Speed and you also have an attacking Monster its faster attacks can cause a lot of damage to the enemy.

For the frontline I selected the Scales of Justice Monster which has the Dodge Ability.

In this type of battle Monsters with Dodge Stun or Flying are very powerful.

The job of Dodge would be to continuously make the enemy's attacks miss while its Health and Armor would remain protected.

Meanwhile I selected a Magic Attacker in the second position which had 4 Health and 1 Magic Power. It would continuously perform Magic Hits and keep weakening the enemy's lineup.

OPPONENT HAD STRONG MONSTER PICKS

When I compared my Monsters and my Units with the enemy Units on the battlefield it was quite interesting because one of the enemy's strong Monster selections was that they selected a high-Health Monster on the frontline along with a Magic Attacker.

They also had an Archon Monster with the +1 Health Ability which meant that at the beginning of the battle all of their Units would get an increase of 1 Health.

Now according to this plan my smart decision was that I did not select any Melee Attacker.

If I had selected a Melee Attacker I would have faced a disadvantage because the Monster in the second position had the Thorns Ability and its 2 Physical Damage would hit me every round which would eliminate my Monster quickly.

And my frontline Monster's Dodge Ability also did not work meaning not even a single attack missed.

The main reason for this is that Magic Damage cannot be protected against with Dodge.

Therefore the beginning of my battle was extremely amazing. Attacks continued coming from both sides.

From Round 1 to Round 4 all Monsters were alive and we continued seeing attacks.

But as soon as Round 5 started my first Monster was eliminated and now the battle became 2 versus 1.

From Round 5 to Round 8 attacks were again continuously happening.

And then in Round 9 the enemy Unit's attacker was eliminated and the battle became 1 versus 1.

This was clearly showing a victory for me because the remaining enemy Unit had no attack power while I still had one Magic Attack Power.

So in Rounds 9 and 10 the enemy Unit continued receiving hits.

At the end of Round 10 the enemy's final Unit was also eliminated.

And in this way I got a very excellent victory in this battle.

And this is the reason for this victory. If you plan properly and create your strategy according to the Rule Set then the victory will be yours.
