Hey G dawg, you gotta tell us really, you have a book of awesome topics and ideas. You just go there and pick them out and dish them at us and we all go Wow every single time, haha. I love this weeks topic.

That conversation you had was amazing. It is a very important part of your relationship, any relationship. The great one are always the modest ones, and I'm pretty sure you're a special person to tons of people but you probably think not, so see the cycle here? :).

There are a lot of special people in my life, its an endless list and I am sure no one would read all of it,😅, but there are two main people who stand out the most.

Before I go any further, I need to tell y'all the special people are my Mom and My Niece.

My Mom

I can write a book about the life of my mom and what she has done for me and my siblings and my family in general and two things are sure,;

  1. The book would be a bestseller

  2. It would be a voluminous piece (and I am not even exaggerating)

My mom is special to me, as to all the members of my Family I believe. There are various aspects of her life, character, wisdom, beliefs, ideology, etc that I could tell that makes her special to me, but I would go with the sacrifices she has made.

I really can't come all out with what she has done as they are a lot and would require a lot of description, but out of the numerous things she has done, I can vividly remember the day she sold the best of her dresses so she could feed my sister and my little niece over half a decade ago.

I was in the university facing my own fair share of hardship, not the best of times but they taught me the best lessons. My sister just had a baby, and she couldn't work and for some reason the house was empty. The little baby wanted food as does my sister. My mom selected the best of her clothes, went out to the market and sold probably all of it. She came back delighted as she made a decent amount. she went back home, got food and prepared for everyone and to those unaware. My sister, my mom and I are the only ones who know what she did on said day, my sister told me Because I asked when I was sent money out of the blue on that faithful day, and God knows I needed it for some books.

Fast forward to present day, she had an accident. Got knocked over by a reckless driver for walking on the street pavement. She was out selling her wares :(. Thats a story for another day. She is the one I think of when I have lost all hope. She never lost hope, in me or any of my siblings. She makes me push forward and be the best at what I want and one day, I'd be able to give her the life she deserves.

My niece

Oh she is a handful. Full of life, free spirited, loving albeit sturbon 😅. Takes after me I reckon.

She came at the time when all hope was lost. She was like the light that we all were waiting for. I was back in school when I eventually heard i've got a niece. Such ecstacy that day.

When I look out the yard and see her playing, I feel a deep sense of joy and satisfaction, reminiscing about the wonder years when you've got no worries.

If you have read this far, all I can say is WOW.
