I said I'd be sharing some of my photography here so today i would. As you all know the lockdown due to the pandemic has limited movements but definitely not creativity. So the shot I'd be sharing today is one that depicts depicts that. Before I continue, I'd like to say thank you to @willspatrick for his challenge on the challengeeos app. Its a blockchain based gaming app that allows you to get rewarded while performing simple tasks based on your location. You can get the app on google play store with this link. I won my first challenge ☺.
It was the usual boring afternoon and the sun was setting, it was evening already and the breeze was chilling. I was with my phone, my camera was in the bag. I went to the kitchen and I saw the matchbox and then it struck me, I could do something with this, thus below.
I tried bending the matchstick which was quite difficult as I tried it multiple times. Eventually it stayed, I sat them both on the table and tried to light them. I summoned my brother to hold my my smart phone light because it was indoors. I used my NikonD3000 to shoot it.
I finally went outside, took a single match stick and stuck it into to ground to hold. I lay my camera down on the ground and got really close. I light the matchstick, set my camera to continuous shooting just to capture the perfect moment. I had a lot of result anyways, but i choose this particular one.
I imported the both images to lightroom mobile as raw images and started editing. I increased the saturation by one stop to keep the light fine. I reduced the exposure and added vignette to center the attention to the light in the middle and woila.
