Our irises are opening! We got a bunch of iris bulbs from a neighbor last year. We planted them and crossed our fingers 🤞 They have been beautiful 😍

Our tulips are still hanging on 🙂 This is the first year we have had tulips. We placed a big order with Holland Bulb Farms last fall.

I love walking down to the local lake each day. Everyday is a little different. Yesterday the lake was a smooth reflecting glass. Today ripples limited reflections to a gauzy haze.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. Especially the moms! I sent my mom this photo as a "virtual" bouquet. I would like to share it with all the other moms out there. You deserve it!

Got out for a short day trip yesterday. Day trips for us are basically 1) lunch 2) photos 3) browsing country stores and/or galleries. This one checked all the boxes.

We hiked the Silver Lake Loop trail from the Goshen trailhead near Goshen, Vermont. What a nice day! and nice hike. 60F, sunny, slight breeze. It doesn't get any better than this 🙂

The Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller Mansion is near Woodstock, Vermont. The Mansion site include a working farm and forest make up the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park. More info from the park

The Middle Bridge in Woodstock, Vermont. The latest iteration of the middle bridge was built in 1969. I like the separate pedestrian passage. We were out for a day trip in my old little red truck.
