MFA Boston
The Museum of Fine Arts Boston is located in a neoclassical building. The first phase of the "new" museum was completed in 1909. A nice modern sign facing Huntington Avenue.

Make Way for Ducklings
Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey is a beloved children's book. In the Boston Public Gardens there is a sculpture tribute to the book which is set in the gardens.

We are on a quick overnight to Boston and spent the afternoon at the Museum of Fine Arts. We had lunch at a lovely cafe in the museum. First rate museum and good food. Definitely worth the visit 👍

We snow shoed again yesterday and stumbled upon a remote hunting shelter. We hiked up a ridge and came to a small clearing on top. Across the clearing on the edge of the woods was a tiny cabin.

Short eared owl
Suprise birding find. A group of short eared owls flying and hunting over a field near Lake Champlain. We were headed out to try some ice fishing but turned back for cameras and binoculars.

Some recent winter sunrises
Winter sunrises are hit or miss but the sun is getting higher in the sky. Some mornings are nice but unfortunately, many mornings are still overcast and gray.

Another winter day at Lake Dunmore. Mount Moosalamoo in the distance is catching some morning light. Up close everything is frozen. Ice crystals growing on leaves that are long dead 😅
