Yesterday was Easter, my birthday, and a lovely Spring day - all in one 🙂 Then I put up a new bird house. We are hoping for blue birds. Next we started on the garden.

We visited the Woodstock, Vermont yesterday and the Norman Williams Public Library.The exposed wooden beams supporting the ceiling dominate the space but all the details are wonderful.

Spring is coming! The first blooms are opening on our star magnolia trees. The star magnolia is a hardy, northern relative of the famous southern magnolias so loved in the southern US states.

Happy #wednesdaywalk! I recently took a short hike near Jordanelle Reservoir. Great views 🙂 Also some fun dried plants along the trails.

We took a swing through Sundance on our recent trip to Utah. The Sundance resort was purchased in 1968 by Robert Redford and named after his role in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

I stumbled across this Banksy mural in Park City, Utah today! The Banksy has been there awhile and has been protected. Apparently Banksy had a film in the Sundance Festival in 2010.

We are on a short trip to Utah. Its like travelling in time a few weeks forward from Vermont. Spring has fully arrived in Utah 🙂

Its a rainy day here so no new spring photos. I found a few winter pictures in the archives. Glad we are past winter finally.

Crocuses are up! Spring is here 🌼 actually the snow drops are the first flowers up in Vermont but I don't have any of those around my houses. Enjoy these crocus photos 🙂

Blue bird house ready for new spring tenant. This house is on the edge of the woods. Its on one of the posts of the fence around my garden facing a bit of open meadow.

Crocuses are up in our flower beds. We have had some 60F days lately. But today, Spring suffered a set back 😅

We have a visitor for the month of March. My son and daughter-in-law's Yorkie is staying with us. Now that the snow cover is melting, we are excitedly checking out our flower beds.

Nice blue skies this morning. Cold and clear 2F 🥶 the cold days are often the prettiest because when the sky is clear this time of year the temperatures drop overnight.

Embrace the cold, frigid north with me 🥶 Everything looks good with a little snow. You just have to get out there.

The Museum of Fine Arts Boston is located in a neoclassical building. The first phase of the "new" museum was completed in 1909. A nice modern sign facing Huntington Avenue.

Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey is a beloved children's book. In the Boston Public Gardens there is a sculpture tribute to the book which is set in the gardens.

We are on a quick overnight to Boston and spent the afternoon at the Museum of Fine Arts. We had lunch at a lovely cafe in the museum. First rate museum and good food. Definitely worth the visit 👍

We snow shoed again yesterday and stumbled upon a remote hunting shelter. We hiked up a ridge and came to a small clearing on top. Across the clearing on the edge of the woods was a tiny cabin.
