Low clouds and fog
Some of the moods on the mountain are very different. Many of the photos end up looking similar but on this morning the low clouds and fog combined for a unique picture.

Fresh snowfall
We got some fresh snow last night. Probably 6 plus inches. Always nice photographs with new coating of snow. No wind with this storm so the snow nicely coated everything.

Snowy day
Snowy day in Vermont. We got 3-4 inches of new snow overnight. And it snowed most of the day today. Got out for some snowshoeing in the afternoon.

Frosty morning
Conditions were right the other day for frost on the trees. It made for a very pretty morning. Nice contrast between the evergreen, pine trees and the frost on the bare maple and birch trees.

Walking on water

Mount Moosalamoo
The destination of my morning walk everyday is Lake Dunmore. I walk down to the lake and out on a neighbors dock then take a picture of Mount Moosalamoo looking across the lake.

Photos from a walk in the snow
A fresh, powdery snow makes for nice photos 🙂 A split rail fence sits at the top of a ridge at the edge of a field along our walk. The snow piled up nicely in the absence of any wind.

The Bixby Memorial Free Library is an impressive library in the small town of Vergennes, Vermont. It was built in 1910 and features a beautiful central dome.

Barred Owl video in Vermont
A Barred Owl visited my backyard today 🙂 Stayed for long enough from some photos and a short video. Barred owls are pretty common in our area.
