Unexpected beauty
We have an unexpected beauty in our flower bed. We didn't plant any sunflowers this year because of a squirrel problem last year. Specifically, the squirrels took out all our sunflowers in one afternoon.

Indian cucumber root plant
Sometimes the colors of fall are in the little details. Like the dappled light on the forest floor together with the Indian cucumber root plant. The red blush on the leaves and the dark berries.

Morning glory
We planted some morning glories along the fence around our garden this year. Normally we only plant in our raised beds because the soil is so poor. But we put some morning glories into the soil
