Snapshots from Vermont
This post is a random collection of fall shots around Vermont. We are in the middle of the season, still lots of leaves on the trees but also starting to pile up underneath the trees. Hope you enjoy this

Some Fall Color
Tthere is some color on the mountains around Lake Dunmore. I haven't caught the right lighting and lake conditions for the perfect reflection shots. Fall is happening just not great photo ops for me yet.

Fall Leaves
I took some pictures of different leaves around the yard to show the different colors. It hasn't been a consistently good year for color but there are always splashes of color if you look for them.

Moon Rise
Bright moon and pine tree silhouette. Not a great technical shot but looks good if you don't zoom 😅 I need to take some time and figure out low lighting photography that and use a tripod haha. These photos

Out on the lake
We got out on the lake this week. Even though we live close to the lake, we don't have a dock or boat so we only get out on the water a few times a year. Here are a few pictures from our outing.

Vermont colors
Got some shots at Sugarhill Reservoir that were too good not to share right away. I was fishing but the colors were better than the fishing. I wanted to check in with my regular followers. No worries here.

Garlic harvest
We are on a short road trip so we harvested our garlic before we left. We planted two bulbs worth of garlic last fall. One was hard neck and one was soft neck.

Squash photos... mostly
Our garden is hitting its stride now that we are a couple of weeks into summer. Squash plant is running. It was just a seedling when planted. Zucchini are also thriving right now.

Marigolds
Marigolds are very common in gardens. And yet they are still very pretty splashes of color worth a little appreciation. Marigolds come in a range of colors primarily yellow to orange.
