Woke up to snow yesterday. April snow maybe our last 馃 While I'm tired of the snow, fresh snow is always good for some pictures. I didn't get out for my early morning walk but went out a little later after the snow stopped.
Retaining wall with snow. You can see the green grass above the wall. There are several resident chipmunks in this wall. They retreated to their warm winter hideaways with the cold snap. No chipmunks today.
It was a wet, heavy snow that coated tree branches and bushes. You can also see the outline of a pathway under the snow.
Footprints (mine 馃槉) in the snow.
Open field with green grass poking through the snow. The grass was just starting to green up. Green grass coming up through white snow is much prettier than green grass coming up through brown straw from last summer 馃檪
Snow on edges of country lane leading to the lake.
Overcast lake with snow on the beach.
Familiar lakeview with snow on the dock and along the shores. Mount Moosalamoo is hidden in the clouds. 10am 4/19/2022
Same lakeview at 5pm 4/19/2022. Almost all the snow is gone. Clouds lifted enough to see most of Mount Moosalamoo across the lake. Still a little snow and maybe snow storms on the mountain.
This is my #wednesdaywalk and #makemesmile collaboration challenge. Hope you all got out for a walk this week and found somethings to make you smile 馃檪
