Abby Pond, Addison County, Vermont.
Abby Pond is at about 1700 feet above sea level on the edge of the Green Mountains which you can see in the distance.
The hike is about 2.2 miles in with a 1200 foot increase in elevation.
If you catch the right timing, its a wonderful place for viewing fall colors.
Most of the trees along the northern shore are maples and they put on a lovely show 🙂
