Until we can fully understand what consciousness is and prove otherwise, I think we have to assume that AC is inevitable. It certainly raises a number of ethical issues. Great post @gprince I enjoyed it.

The UK is pretty good tbh. We have to pay capital gains tax but I think there are only around 5% of people that are expected to pay actually do. It just isn't enforced that much.
