8 days into the New Year and I am still on my exercise regimen. There has been no relapse. Sticking to my resolution to finally lose extra weight. Goal is to lose 25 lbs and my motivation to do so is still very strong. So proud of myself. I'm just putting my "blinders" on and making exercise like a habit that I must accomplish daily whether I want to or not. Just like breathing, we do it without thinking. Something that must be done and is a part of us.
After all, how important is exercise to our health? A very important part one to say the least. With proper nutrition, exercise must be part of one's daily regimen. What is the saying? A man's #1 wealth is his health. We forget how true this is. How many times do we hear of a person's health decline due to the person neglecting his health by not exercising and eating a proper, nutritional diet.
We all get busy working and pursuing our goals that we lose perspective and get our priorities all screwed up. I mean, reaching our goals both financially and occupationally, are good but what good is it if our health deteriorates and you can't be even enjoy the spoils of your victory. All that fame, wealth, and titles will be for naught. You've got to exercise to help maintain your health so that you can have abundant energy to enjoy your life.
So stick hard to your resolutions. Make 2018 a year where you focus on your goals and achieve them accordingly. Stay with it guys. And speaking of exercise, I must stop now and get to the gym.
