I did a quick little procreate drawing last night.

Just something to pass the time.

In other news, it looks like Nova Scotians just lost their right to peaceful assembly. So it's now illegal to protest the provincial government and the only way to get that back is to get that government to allow it. Yeah, good luck with that; we won't be getting that one back any time soon.

Not only is protesting the provincial government now illegal but so is promoting the protest on social media. This is very vague if you ask me. Does that mean anyone who 'shares' anything about a protest can also be arrested? What is deemed to be 'promoting' something? I may be promoting a protest right now just for having the opinion that any and all protests should be allowed.

Should they lock me up for having this opinion, or will locking me down be enough punishment for now?

I also enjoyed reading through this study on "anti-maskers" as the authors put it. The link is to an article, but you can download the study from there. As it turns out, most people questioning this narrative are quite literate when it comes to determining data and it appears these "anti-mask" groups have a high standard for obtaining and distributing information.

It also delves into the fact that people are skeptical not because they think this whole thing is fake, but because there is far too much conflicting data and the various governments seem to have far more data than they are releasing. Who would have thought not being transparent and open with the information, telling people to "trust the experts", and then fucking things up, getting caught lying, and not admitting mistakes would be a bad way to approach this. Couple that with countless other boondoggles over the last while and it's no wonder people are skeptical.

I already knew this, but it's refreshing to see that even "pro-mask" scientists have no choice to acknowledge that anti-maskers are basing their findings off official data when trying to hold all these unelected health politicians accountable.

It's too bad only skeptics will read that though. People who are too lazy to do their own research are busy posting mainstream articles filled with logical fallacies and no real references about why we shouldn't be questioning the "science" from these politicians. It makes me sick how people can even think not questioning anything, even a little, is a good idea given as we've already been through much of this stuff throughout history. Just because it's "legal" doesn't mean it's morally right. Time and time again, history has shown that the morally right thing is usually the right path to take over just doing something because it's legal.

Damn, another Covid-1984 rant again.
