I got some nice drone shots from my camping trip last week at Windhorse Farm.

Now that we're in another "circuit breaker" lockdown in Nova Scotia, I sure wish I could go back there to wait it out.

It gets me thinking about taking the plunge and getting some land out in the middle of nowhere. Somewhere I could just go and disappear for days on end.

I've always thought about buying some land, the problem is taking the plunge and just doing it. The longer I wait, the longer it will take to establish it. After visiting this 100-year-old farm, it made me realize that nothing happens overnight, but if it's not started it can never be finished. First some land, then clear a spot for a camp. Then maybe a small cabin. Then add solar panels. And so on, and so on. That can't happen overnight on a budget... unless BTC goes to 1 million.

I may just have to take the plunge and take it soon. The housing and land prices are really beginning to climb here in Nova Scotia, just like the rest of the country. If I can't get something soon, I might have to wait for the crash. And they'll delay that as long as they can.

Maybe something will play out in the near future. Who knows?

There are also some photo's posted the other day of the farm you can see here if you'd like.
