The Trigger Technique

This technique was created to aid visual thinking and is often referred to as the "Rolls Royce" of creative techniques. It uses a process where one lists a set of creativity prompts in order to "trigger" new ideas. These prompts are then consciously used to turn one's thinking away from normal thinking patterns.

The technique involves a strategy of using a list of triggers, that can be found here. As soon as you start playing with these triggers, you will find that new ideas start generating in your mind almost automatically. You should play with as many triggers as possible to come up with a wide range of ideas to solve your visual problem. The trigger technique is employed in a wide range of creative fields to revolutionize one's way of thinking.
