This pictures are form my trip to the Galápagos islands.
The Galápagos marine iguana realy fascinated me.
It is a species of iguana found only on the Galápagos Islands, and is unique among modern lizards, to forage in the sea, making it a marine reptile.
Its impressive camouflage and the big numbers made it challenging to avoid stepping on them.
This beautiful reptile has a somewhat strange behavior. Every few minutes, an iguana would let out a big old sneeze, spraying out water up to several feet. This is to deal with the excess amount of salt the iguana ingested after feeding in the sea.
Looks like a smal Godzilla :)) enjoy!
