It was a pretty chill Sunday. We went for lunch with friends and then to a matinee showing of Jordan Peele’s “Us”. I didn’t hate it, it wasn’t bad, but I do think it pales in comparison to “Get Out”. “Us” was creepy for sure, but the plot was a little weak. Lupita Nyong'o gives a great performance, in face the cast is quite good over all, I feel like it was made a draft or two too soon. I was waiting for the pay off of the film, that thing that brings it all together and it never came 🤷🏻♀️
I would say you should see it and form your own conclusions but I would say you can wait for Netflix is streaming it.
