Splinterlands: Sometimes the Battle Just Has Other Plans 😂🔥
One thing I have learned from playing Splinterlands is that sometimes you can prepare the perfect lineup, look at your cards, study the ruleset and feel completely confident about the battle… only for the match to start and everything go in a completely different direction. 😂
There are those battles where you look at your opponent’s lineup and immediately think, “Yeah, I’ve got this one.” Your cards look stronger, your strategy makes sense, and everything seems to be going according to plan.
Then the first few rounds happen.
Suddenly, your main tank is taking more damage than expected. Your damage dealers are missing attacks. The card you thought would carry the entire team is basically just standing there watching the battle fall apart. 😂
And that is when you start questioning every decision you made.
“Why did I put this card here?”
“Why didn’t I use that other card?”
“Maybe I should have changed the lineup.”
But at that point, the battle has already started and all you can do is watch. 😂
That is one of the things I enjoy about Splinterlands. You can have a strategy in your head, but the actual battle can still surprise you. Sometimes the lineup you thought was average ends up performing amazingly, while the one you were extremely confident about completely disappoints you.
It also makes every battle feel like a small learning experience. Even when you lose, there is usually something you can take from it. Maybe the positioning was wrong, maybe the speed difference mattered, maybe you underestimated a certain ability, or maybe you simply got unlucky.
And then you queue up for another battle because obviously one loss is not enough to make you stop. 😂
That “one more battle” mentality is dangerous because before you know it, you are still playing much later than you planned.
Splinterlands really has a funny way of making you want to improve. You keep experimenting with different cards, different combinations and different strategies just to see what works.
Sometimes you dominate.
Sometimes you get destroyed
And sometimes you have absolutely no idea how you won. 😂🔥
But that is part of the fun.
