Today marks Day 20 of sharing my Splinterlands journey, and it feels good to reach another milestone. Looking back at my experience with the game, I realize that there are many little things that make it enjoyable for me. From looking through my card collection to preparing a lineup and seeing how everything comes together in a battle, there is always something that keeps me interested.

One of my favourite parts of playing Splinterlands is the process of deciding which cards to use. Sometimes, I have a clear idea of the team I want to build, but other times, I need to spend more time considering my options. I might look at a few cards and wonder which combination would make the most sense. These moments make the game more engaging because I have to think about my choices rather than simply selecting cards without considering their roles.

I have also noticed how easy it can be to become attached to certain cards. When I find cards that I enjoy using, I naturally want to include them in my teams whenever possible. However, I am learning that enjoying a particular card does not automatically make it the right choice for every battle. Sometimes, I need to look beyond my favourites and consider other options that might suit the situation better.

This is one of the things I want to keep improving as I play. I want to become more familiar with my collection and understand how different cards can complement one another. Instead of relying on the same combinations all the time, I want to give myself room to experiment. I believe that exploring different possibilities can make the experience more exciting and help me appreciate cards I might otherwise overlook.

Of course, not every decision will produce the result I hope for. There are times when I may feel confident about my choices but later wonder whether another approach would have worked better. Rather than allowing those moments to discourage me, I want to use them as opportunities to reflect. I can think about why I selected certain cards, what I expected them to contribute, and what I might consider changing in a future battle.

Another thing I appreciate about Splinterlands is that the experience does not have to be perfect to be enjoyable. Sometimes, the fun comes from discovering a new possibility or simply enjoying the process of putting a team together. I do not need to win every battle to appreciate the time I spend playing. What matters to me is that I continue learning while having fun along the way.

Sharing these posts has also given me another way to appreciate my journey. Writing about the game encourages me to think about my decisions and the small experiences that make each session interesting. Even when I do not have a major achievement to discuss, there is usually something worth reflecting on, whether it is my card choices, my approach to a battle, or an idea I want to try next time.

Reaching Day 20 reminds me that consistency can be rewarding. It is easy to focus only on major milestones, but sometimes the real enjoyment comes from showing up, playing, learning, and gradually becoming more comfortable with the game. I want to carry that mindset into my future sessions and continue exploring what Splinterlands has to offer.

As I move forward, I hope to become more confident in my decisions and more willing to try different approaches. I know there will always be new things to learn, and that is part of what makes the journey worthwhile. For now, I am happy to keep playing, improving at my own pace, and sharing my experiences with the community.

What keeps you coming back to Splinterlands? Is it the excitement of battles, the satisfaction of building your collection, the challenge of making better decisions, or the community you get to share the experience with? I would love to hear what makes the game special for you.
