Trees for Tuesday, in silhouette

@uwelang has listed some photography challenges for various days of the week. It's an opportunity to share some of your pictures. For Tree Tuesday here's a couple of trees you will have seen if you watched The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies. A couple of years ago we were in New Zealand and had to visit the Hobbiton set. It's so cool to wander around the place. If you go for the evening tour you can have dinner in The Green Dragon!

This is the party tree, which inspired them to use this location. They had to drain a swamp to use the field. We got to sing and dance in the party field under the stars. They are not great photos as it was getting dark when we walked around.

This is the tree on top of Bilbo's house, Bag End. It's not real and they had to re=paint the leaves for some of the movies. They went to incredible effort for some items that were on screen for seconds.

If you are ever in New Zealand I can recommend a visit.
