I've said many times that FB is on a very different scale, so special interest groups are more viable. I am in some, but my feed is full of crap. I may see less ads due to using Brave. I have some friends who only use it so I need to stay in touch with them, but I tend to just have the Messenger page open and look at the feed every few days for updates. I've used many different platforms including forums. Each is different. These days I don't have the time to casually browse too many. Hive gives me value for time.

Hive is not FB and cannot be directly compared, but it can still be fun if you can connect with people and I do. I've met hundreds of them in real life and that may help. My experience may well be different to yours.
