This week I learned that in France Jaws was called The Teeth of the Sea (in French). I'm sure if put a lot of people off swimming in the sea. When we were in Cape Cod there were signs on the beach warning of great whites who hunt the seals. You don't hear of that many shark deaths though. Australia get the odd one.

Of course Planet of the Apes ended on a beach (spoiler).
