I seemed crazy to me that cars kept getting bigger. I think it's worse in the US where pickup trucks are some of the most popular vehicles.

We had a Zafira that was a great and very practical car. After that died we got a Honda CRV that is an SUV, but it's pretty old now. It is not very economical and when that dies we'll get an EV. Now the kids have moved out we could manage with a smaller car.
