We have an old CR-V that does about 30mpg, but it's reliable and solid. Getting 40mpg from a hybrid doesn't seem that much of an improvement. I assume with a hybrid you have a fair bit of extra weight.
One advantage of the old one is that you can shuffle across in the front if you need to get out of the other side.
We have an order in for an MG4, but they have pushed delivery back to January. I'm hoping they can get it to us a little earlier.
