If masks do any good then we should use them in situations where these is a significant risk of transmission. I think it is the anti people who make the most fuss by turning it into a right issue. I think people can do what they like to themselves, but they have no right to endanger others deliberately.

A lot of entertainment media from the last year is likely to stand out in future due to the restrictions that have existed, but I wonder if some habits will change for good. Face masks have been in common use in Asia for years and some people here may feel more comfortable to keep wearing them. Anyone who berates others for taking precautions should question their own priorities.

With what happened yesterday I think 2021 is continuing the period of weirdness.
