A lot of towns have almshouses that may still be used for social good. Society ought to look after those who struggle and a lot of rich people through history have used their wealth for good. That is why I have little empathy for those who just seem to hoard wealth. I also have issues with those who use religion to discriminate and I know the Sally Army has been accused of that. We are seeing other cases lately and that is tragic.
