Cheers for the history lesson. I've not read up too much on those battles. I think Audie's name sounded familiar, but that may be from his acting roles. He did a lot of that until his early death in a plane crash. War is a horrible thing and it's terrible that it is still going on in Ukraine and elsewhere. It stills seems to be about sending in young men to do the dirty work, but now drones are doing a lot of that so combat is different. We need to learn from history.
