There are no rules to Hive, but we all get a say in how the rewards get shared. That can include decreasing them. I have had huge downvotes against me before because I decided to do this. Wouldn't you rather have people value your posts and show their gratitude as well as leaving comments? Buying votes does not get you that and the return is not that great anyway.

I want what is best for Hive. I do not get paid for downvoting and you are free to downvote me.
