Well she sounds like an interesting young lady. My other half went to the Soviet Union with her dad in the 80s. That was an interesting experience. It seems Russia is still threatening despite big changes.

Your issue with the steps reminds me that when we built our house we had to make it wheelchair accessible. We don't have the ramp now, but it makes you think about what could happen so that you might need those aids.
