I'm not sure we read any Star Wars books to our kids, but my son became a big fan anyway. He has various Lego models, including the big Falcon, and various items like a light sabre and a Bob Fett helmet. I should say that he is into his 20s now, so he can buy his own 'toys'. I watched some of the films with him and he watched a lot of Clone Wars on his own. It spans the generations.
