Well I just learnt a bit just from your post. Japan is fascinating as it is so different to European culture. We had a few days in Tokyo 10 years ago and it was fun. People were pretty friendly and so it was not as difficult as I had expected to get around. I would like to go back some time to see more of the country.

I just don't know when I will find time to read those books.
