China are still building coal power stations, but they know renewables are cheaper. They do produce most of the solar panels so other countries ought to do more of their own. The fossil fuel lobby elsewhere are desperate to preserve their share of the market and buy politicians to help them with that. I'm very happy with my solar panels.
