I've not been active on reddit as Steem gives me more than enough to read and comment on, as well as paying me something.

It's easy to find fault with Steem, but it still seems like the best platform available for anyone to earn without fear of being shut down (although any front end can filter accounts).

Okay, so the Steem price is low, but I can make a dollar out two by posting about my running and I think that is a fair reward. I have been buying Steem recently to increase my vote, which only goes to others.

Somehow in the coming year we need to bring a new wave of users to Steem to at least keep it going. Communities may be part of that. I think it will be people joining and using it that drives the price up rather than the other way around. We need pioneers willing to take the chance. You can buy your way to dolphin pretty cheaply for now.
