I know nothing about this guy, but any violence is bad. I hear about the term 'antifa', but who do they really represent? It seems there are always thugs around who use politics, sport or whatever as an excuse to beat people up. They may not actually care about the cause. They should be disowned by anyone they claim to represent. Of course you have a president who encourages attacks on the media, so some blame lies there. Shameful to see him joking about this with Putin when journalists in Russia are being murdered.

I've been considering a post on the 'fake news' theme, but I am no expert on that. What I do know is that suppression and discrediting of the media are the techniques of dictators. Journalists all over the world are imprisoned, beaten up or worse for trying to report on what goes on. I may not like what Breitbart stand for, but attacking their people is just wrong. I hope those responsible are brought to justice. Fight them with words, not fists.
