Normally I'd have done a run this morning, but it's been raining non-stop and I can't face an hour in that. I did a run yesterday, so I don't feel too bad about it. Instead I'm staying inside to get a few things done. One of those has to be my daily #Inktober sketch.
For this I drew a family heriloom. This clock belonged to an ancestor who was working for a rich family who were touring Europe early in the last century. They story I've been told is that they all went missing. Maybe they were attacked by bandits. This watch was part of his belongings that were sent on ahead and it got back to the family. I need to check up on the details of this and find some references to back it up, but it's an interesting story.
I think this is called a Goliath watch. It's too big and heavy for your pocket with glass front and back that make it a sphere. Making it look spherical in my drawing was beyond me.
Anyone can take part in this challenge. It's just for fun.
