Another week of lockdown goes by and not too much to report. I expect lots of people have accelerated their Steem power down now it only takes four weeks. The prices are fairly stable. Steem has seen some surges in volume according to

@coingecko, but cannot catch up with HIVE. HBD and SBD are both managing to stay around the dollar mark with pretty low volume. I am converting any HBD I get to HIVE to power up. I have been selling Steem through this method. I have more due today.

Fine Drones of the Hive

There are some new initiatives out to help boost Hive.

@hivepeople is all about building community. It should be about people with money as a secondary issue. Without people this platform has no real value. Long-time denizen of the blockchain

I see Steemit are trying to encourage charity support, but it is obvious that the rewards are going to those who help themselves first. I have supported the

@papilloncharity on Steem and now on Hive for years. Actually I supported them when we were both on Tsu some years ago.

@nickyhavey is sharing his music on Hive. He is trying to get more electronic musicians to join him, but the complications of Hive are putting some off. If someone could set up an easy way to extract Hive to Paypal they might be more interested.

@jeffjagoe has Hive merchandise for sale. He may be open to accepting HIVE for it.

@solominer has been busy in the garden. I am picking up some tips for my own plot. Growing food is an even more attractive idea these days.

The Doghouse

@huaren.news is still trolling the Hive community with junk posts that get no interaction. He does not make anything here apart from some curation, but he will use his leased HP to downvote anyone who dares to help reduce his reputation. He makes plenty on Steem from his self-votes with lots more HP.

Steemflag (a false flag?) and Goodreader are other accounts he owns. A lot of his Hive posts are just complaining about getting downvoted. He seems to have a special affection for me. Do I really have 'double standards'? I have no idea of the sexual preferences of my friends such as

@enforcer48 and really do not care where on the sexual spectrum they fall.

If you lease out your SP or HP then it is up to you if you want to support those who abuse the platforms.

I put myself out to defend Steem from abuse and now do that on Hive instead. I believe the platform is worth fighting for. It will never be perfect, but it is certainly looking much better than Steem is now. I was very sad to see Steem go downhill so fast, but we have 'A New Hope'. Long live the rebellion!
