You may already have seen that Hive account@shayne did a portrait for me. It only cost me a few dollars in Steem so I'm more than happy to have it. I let him choose the colours, and wasn't 100% happy with what he used. I've just done a quick re-touch using some simple tools.

Shayne based his work on a picture taken of me about 10 years ago. I'm actually a little greyer now, but still got my hair.

He's also given me the line art that I could play with. Great service for very little money. Good to see he's getting a few more commissions and building up some Steem. This is part of the growing Steemit economy. If we use Steem to pay for goods and services we can spread it around and make it more valuable. There are even actual physical locations where you can spend it. I'm keeping some Steem Dollars available in case I have the opportunity to spend it.

Don't just hoard your Steem. Spread it around.
