@anomadsoul set a little post challenge to include a few precious moments from this event using the #backfromsteemfest tag.
I've added some souveniers to my frame from last year. In case anyone tries to read the Steem Monsters code, I've already used it :) Not sure what I'll do with my cards.
Nothing particularly funny in my collection. I didn't take as many as some people. I do like the 'gramophone' they had in the lobby at the INX hotel. Didn't get a change to play any jazz on it.
Well I had a lot of hugs from people, but not sure they count as they were enjoyable. I thought I'd be embarrassed to talk to a whale like @blocktrades, but he's a nice guy. I tried to not drink too much, so that may have saved me from embarrassment.
Just talking to @brian-rhodes is a pleasure as he has lots of stories about the movie world. He's created steem.film to encourage more film makers to get on the blockchain.
@luzcypher is always on good form too. Interesting to hear about his new directory of Steem communities. That may be coming soon.
Probably this one taken right at the start.
I met lots of new people. @yidneth is a total free spirit with her travelling rats.
@hashcash recorded an interview with me. I had no idea what he looked like and was surprised when we met.
@blewitt gave us all a comic and looked very pleased whenever I saw him.
Having been to Lisbon I had some idea of what to expect. I'm just amazed at what @roelandp and his team achieve. Some will say the tickets are expensive, but hiring these venues and laying on all the food and entertainment is not cheap. Just check out the prices for other conferences and I bet they are nothing like as much fun.
I do remember taking this, but I don't have anything too random to share. This bridge was a prominent landmark as we went up and down along the river with its acrobats and many padlocks. I saw a couple having wedding photos taken there as we walked up to the second conference venue. This was taken around midnight as I walked back from the Night of Steem. @detlev was with me up to the bridge before we parted and then is was a slightly spooky solo walk to the hotel.
I've had a lot of fun looking at posts by others who were there.
I'm Steve, the geeky guitarist.
