Description from Strava:
I was still buzzing a bit from my parkrun performance yesterday. It is great to get improvements from your training. The weather is cooling a little now and so it gets more comfortable to run. I have a gig with the band today so I did not want to wear myself out. I did the long loop around the villages.

I saw plenty of other runners out there. Everything is very dry, but there could be rain tomorrow. Up at Fairfield I ran along a track under the trees that I think is meant for horses. It has some step over obstacles that may deter motorbikes, but I could see someone had ridden around them. I get a little extra exercise from jumping them.

In Stotfold there was an ambulance and some police cars. I could not see signs of an accident, so it may have been someone taken ill at home. I did not hang around to find out.

My legs were feeling good and so I could keep up a good pace today although I was not really going for speed. I aim to improve my fitness and try to avoid injury so I can keep improving. The parkrun is my benchmark. Having that every week is a great incentive.

Have a lovely Sunday and run free!
