Description from Strava:
This weekend I have been back in Liverpool. I was here with the family a few years ago. I will pay on Hive later about what I have been doing here, but I had to fit in a run.

It was quite quiet out there early on Sunday. I could see the modern Catholic cathedral from where I was staying and wanted to take a closer look. I had to run up some steps to get close. It is spectacular, even on a full morning.

From there I could see the other cathedral and headed towards that. It is the biggest in the country and it's only about 100 years old. We went in on our last visit. I saw a path that led down through a tunnel to the graveyard that I assume is older.

I them headed downhill towards the River Mersey. I ran along that last time. I just knew I would have a climb on the way back. I did that through the city centre and it was hard work.

I have seen a lot of people sleeping on the streets and begging. That is sad to see on this modern age.

Liverpool has done great architecture and is an interesting place to explore. I often do that on my runs.

Run free, yeah yeah yeah.
