Description from Strava:
I was helping at parkrun yesterday, so I missed that run. I did go for a walk on Friday over the railway to see how the paths look. By the river it is very overgrown with too many nettles to run past in shorts. There is a new bridge to replace the old rotten one. I will be logging some walks on Strava as we have another company challenge this week.

Today was a chance for a long run. It was really windy last night, but it was a lovely morning. There was a 5km event on in Letchworth today, but I have not entered anything recently. I still saw quite a few runners around my route.

I did my usual loop around Fairfield and then out of Stotfold to the fields, but diverted off on a route I have not done in a while. It is generally quiet over there, but I passed one lady out there. The last bit to the bypass was very overgrown and so I had to take it slowly. Instead of crossing the main road I followed it to the railway bridge and went under.

I came straight home when I got to Arlesey as it felt like enough. The pace was not too bad and I felt good. I have done some gardening since then and I do feel my age when I have to do a lot of bending. We have been putting the pool away for the winter. We get good use from it over the warmer months.

Have a great week and run free.
