Description from Strava:
I had not run for almost a week as we have been travelling. We tend to do a lot of walking anyway as we explore. We are staying in this hotel for a few days and so can take it easy for a while

The hotel is in a big park by the Elbe. There is a race course (for horses) nearby that is also part of a golf course.

I started off crossing the river on a long footbridge. Then I passed through the old docks. They have done old ships that seem to be part of an open museum. We're shall explore that later. There were a lot of puddles as it rained yesterday and there was a very light drizzle this morning.

I ran as far as the next bridge where I could cross back over. That meant a bit of a climb up a ramp. This was the only part of the run near a road, but it was not too busy. Then I was back along the river by a big fun park. There is a big pyramid with a slide wrapping around it.

I saw a few other runners out there. Although it was cool and damp I still got very warm. I had a shower and then a hearty hotel buffet breakfast.

Run free.
