Description from Strava:
This is my first run in over a week. I did take running kit on our trip to Austria, but did not get out. We did a lot of walking, so I felt I got my steps in anyway. I considered doing the Salzburg parkrun, but it was raining on Saturday and it was not near us. I try not to get too obsessed with my parkrun stats.

Since I got back I have been to the Royal Institution on Tuesday to see a recording of Infinite Monkey Cage and then I was at the pub for a music session last night. I had an appointment this morning at the dental hygienist, but managed to get out for a run first.

I did my usual loop around Fairfield and just took it steady. The weather was fine, but it had been raining. The garden has gone mad whilst we were away, so I have work to do there. We do have some raspberries and strawberries.

I looked out from the top of the hill across a field of broad beans that are well grown now. The run felt okay and I hope to run at my regular parkrun on Saturday. They seem to have enough volunteers.

I look forward to an evening in tonight as I have some TV to catch up on. I did watch a couple of things whilst away including finishing off the excellent 3 Body Problem. I enjoyed it more than the book.

As well as this run I have a few other posts to do on Hive about my travels. If anyone fancies an account on a decentralised platform that can pay you then let me know.

Run free!
