Description from Strava:
I do not usually run on a Wednesday, but I am trying to fit in more runs around work to get my distance up. We have had a series of storms across the UK, but at least it is warmer now. The thermostat showed 10C outside today.

I did the usual loop, but it felt like hard work this time. I have not been sleeping that well and it may be affecting my fitness. I do not feel that bad though. Going up West Drive there were a few fallen branches and I expect someone had to clear them so cars could get up there. I had no issues getting through.

There were not so many people out there this time, but it was actually a fairly nice morning. It was still a bit windy at the top of the hill where you can see for miles.

The road out of Fairfield was busy as people go to work, but I am happy enough to work from home today. I drive a lot less than I used to when working in London. I still go to the office each week, but I can take a short train journey to get there.

I listened to a Guardian podcast on the future of flying using low carbon fuels. I think we need to fly less. I have already done more than my fair share of that. I fed the chickens when I got back. No eggs again.

Have a great day whatever you are doing.

Run free.
