This is it! This is ALMOST the office album cover for “Cumbia Transmission”.
(Skip to the end to see the final...)
Previous when I mentioned this new album, Cumbia Transmission, I revealed a new album cover draft. It’s cool, but I misspelled a word in the title. Nobody said anything. I could been ruined!
Just kidding, I do that shit all the time. Patience and persistence served me well. I posted about the album cover and inadvertently created an opportunity to see the draft album cover from a different perspective.
These are the small addition and modifications.
I made that plate for the album title by cropping the neck plate image from #thebrokenyellowguitar neck plate sticker.
Cropping the edge of the sticker creates what looks like one of those little serial number plates we see on cars and stuff.
I also made a divider line… it’s kinda fat… it might come in handy. Below is a sample of the new mini plate.
It should have rounded edges. I had a nicely cropped version, but I lost it during editing… but oh snap! I just thought of an easy editing oil to make another one... rounded edges… brb…
Uhhh… that’s better. These last two should have rounded edges. Wtf is it so hard to make rounded edges?!?
Okay those looks better. That stuff will come in handy later.
Oh and there’s this embossed look. I like it, but it doesn’t pop enough to be the album title’s style. I created those plates for the title to have pop.
I changed my mind. I don’t like it. The album title should be larger. I’m going to make the plate longer… dang.
Brb…
OK, it's cool for this minute. Looks good for now on the crunchy cell phone screen. I’ll probably get back to it later I’ll get back to her ASAP on a larger computer screen. If I just put that plate on there, the glimmer and lighting will look ghetto. I made some other adjustments.
RELEASE DATE!
I was hoping to release on the full moon of Feb 16th 2022, but it's too late.
