I cannot understand all the attention the news media affords to Hollywood these days. Everyday, in every medium, bombardment of celebrity news invades.
Remember when entertainment types used to be able to create great movies, music, TV programs and keep their mouths shut while doing it. One had a hard time knowing anything personal about their favorite celebrity, especially their politics. This also includes professional sports where professionalism used to guide players to keeping their personal thoughts outside their given sport to themselves.
Nowadays nearly everybody in entertainment, sports and even the news business is running their mouths about any issue imaginable. I just don't think the majority of Americans give one damn about any of it. Indifference has formed among the common people and their attitudes toward the land of the beautiful, self important, rich, sexually challenged and liberally insane.
Movie attendance is down, NFL attendance and TV viewing as well. Seems people are voting with their money instead of with their own opinions.
I'll save freedom of speech for another day.
