Seriously In my opinion, the most useless celebrity in my country have ever known is Okikiola Habeeb, popularly known as Portable. This is my personal opinion based on his public image and the way he has chosen to use his fame.
Celebrities are often looked up to by millions of people, especially young people. Because of this, they have a responsibility to set a good example and use their influence positively. While Portable is undoubtedly talented and has produced songs that many people enjoy, he is more frequently in the news for controversies, public arguments, and confrontations than for positive contributions to society.
Instead of using his platform to promote education, peace, or youth empowerment, many of his public appearances and social media posts seem to focus on creating drama. This constant involvement in controversies can send the wrong message to young fans who may see such behavior as a way to gain attention or remain relevant.
I believe that fame should be used to make a positive impact. Many celebrities use their popularity to support charities, encourage entrepreneurship, promote good values, or raise awareness about important social issues. These actions help improve their communities and inspire others to become better people. In contrast, when a celebrity is known
for scandals and conflicts, it becomes difficult to see the positive influence they are having on society.
However, it is important to acknowledge that this is only my personal opinion. Other people may admire Portable for his music, his rise from humble beginnings, or his determination to succeed despite many challenges. Everyone is entitled to their own perspective, and his fans may point to achievements that they believe outweigh his controversies.
I consider Okikiola Habeeb, popularly known as Portable, to be the most useless celebrity in my country because I believe he has not made the best use of his influence. I think he could have a much greater positive impact if he focused more on inspiring people and contributing to society instead of being associated with frequent controversies. Ultimately, a celebrity's legacy should be defined not only by fame but also by the positive difference they make in the lives of others.
